You gotta be kidding me. Get the ball inside the 20 and come away with nothing.
I can see why Ferentz did that though...a TD wins it and a FG sets you up to lose by 1.

Iowa should get a point for that sweet ass toss by the holder between the legs.

wow, if that ball hadn't rolled out of bounds there, it would be safe to say playing to win would have backfired on Iowa.ironman02 wrote: Yeah, you're right. Playing not to lose usually backfires.

The kicker had pretty good wheels, but GT was on that one.

Definitely a close call. Ferentz would have never lived that one down.karen lotz wrote: wow, if that ball hadn't rolled out of bounds there, it would be safe to say playing to win would have backfired on Iowa.

Why not run the ball on 3rd down and keep your offense in on 4th and run a play that gives your team a chance of winning?

I like the call to fake it; GT did a good job scoping that one out.

If Iowa can force GT to use timeouts, I like their chances even if they do have to punt the ball back to the Jackets. Nesbitt is 1-4 for 11 yards and a pick. Gonna be hard for GT to put a drive together when they rarely throw the ball in any situation.

So that means the Big Ten has taken down the #15, #12, #9 and the #7 teams this bowl season?! LOL

My lord Nesbitt is a terrible passer.
