14-7 at the beginning of the second.

Georgia Tech has 18 yards and 0 first downs.

Stanzi went 9/10 for 156 yards and 2 TD, but the one incompletion was a pick six.

Is it just me or is this not shocking to anyone else? Sure is to the guys on Fox.

I'm not surprised one bit--I guess those guys didn't give Iowa's defense enough respect.

Iowa's defense has been stout. They are just completely shutting GA Tech down. I agree Iowa does look like they are handling Tech's "speed" pretty well, but only 1 half has been played. I want to see how Georgia Tech responds. Their offense has been pretty solid all season

This resembles the OSU/Oregon game a lot (just a not-so-good version of either team), I figured Iowa would be able to contain GT for the most part.

Heard Jim Rome today say, "If Ohio State can get 200+ rushing yards vs. Iowa, you KNOW Ga Tech will do it"

Not so fast, Jimmy.

Iowa's D struggling on this opening drive.

Had GT 2nd and 18 and let Dwyer go for 15.

Missed the FG.

Dear Johnson and Kelly,

If you normally go for manageble 4th downs, don't change just because you're playing in a BCS bowl in front of the nation.

How the heck did Sandeman drop that?

Murray's kick is good. 17-7.

Wish Iowa would have got 7 there, but I'll take 3. Up 17-7 now and GT hasn't been able to produce any points offensively.

The last bowl victory for Iowa was definitely not in '59.

And of course, GT goes right down the field and scores. 17-14.

Come on, Iowa. Win this!

Promising drive stalls out for Iowa. I like that they were taking shots down the field instead of trying to work the clock. Playing to win instead of playing not to lose.

So Iowa is running the football, basically at will, and then they decide to throw on three straight downs. If they were trying to kill that drive, they definitely succeeded.

Haha...looks like we saw that a little differently.

Wow, what an awful decision by Nesbitt. That could be the nail in the coffin if Iowa can capitalize.

hahahaha I was just saying I like the aggressiveness of Iowa. A lot of teams in their position would be running isos and dives until the clock ran out

Yeah, you're right. Playing not to lose usually backfires.
