Last 2 threads I started were the last 2 Reds wins. If there's ever a time we need some luck it's in this one.

12:10 start so lets get this going.

Volquez vs Shields.

What realistic lineup do you want? Here's mine:
Lewis LF
Phillips 2B
Votto 1B
Bruce RF
Rolen DH
Hernandez C
Cairo 3B
Heisey CF
Janish SS

Will Ramon catch a day game after playing tonight? Dusty should split up Cueto and Volquez to avoid this.

Might be the most lopsided pitching match-up of the year. So the Reds will win, lol.

Don't look now but Drew Stubbs is on a 4 game hitting streak. Has as many hits as strikeouts over the last 4 games!

Yeah you could put him in there for Heisey, I just figured it was his turn for a day off since he's started the whole road trip.

Yeah..I thought only games taht were not on were some home BMS's.

Hard to bet on the reds to win with Volquez throwing.

notice I said throw, not pitching.

Lewis 7
Phillips 4
Votto 3
Rolen 5
Bruce 9
Gomes DH
Hanigan 2
Stubbs 8
Janish 6

Hanigan hasn't caught Volquez since his first start of the year.

Yeah, but it's baseball and you just flat out never know.

I mean did you have Edgar Renteria last night pulling the ball for the go ahead RBI.......and then stealing 2nd?

You have the Mets with 2 grand slams when they hadn't hit one forever?

After the month of May did you have Wily Mo Pena hitting as many HR in the big leagues as Jay Bruce?

The only pitching/catching combo I don't like at all is Ramon Hernandez and Aroldis.....but those are hard to avoid. I think Hanigan does fine with everyone.

and that is why baseball is so interesting...anything can happen and such. The loweste of guy can be the hero in any given game.

Gotta have Hernandex and Chappy though with the language, dont think pigface knows his language.

Last night was the FIRST game taht I did not get to follow in some fashion. Was it a quick game? I was so busy and tried to make it a point to come in before 10 to watch the end but it was over.

Good ole Wily Mo. Saw him put on some HR displays in BP when he was with the dragons. Amazing power...but his contract I think handcuffed him and rushed him to the majors early

Hanigan was learning Spanish in the offseason, not sure how much he knows yet but I'm sure it's enough. Not like you need to talk with Chapman much, he's in there for 5 or 6 batters max throwing 90% fastballs. If more than 1 runner gets on Price comes out anyways and he can also speak Spanish.

The Reds really need to win a series. This would be a good one to get with what amounts to 2 days off before the Indians series. These next 11 games are going to go a long way to seeing how the season is gonna go.

True, but can he tell Chapman what is really important......like where to find the sexiest woman in the crowd. Those are the most important discussions that happen on the mound.

I'm assuming you mean up through the Cards series after the all star break? I'd say that's where they will determine if they are buyers or sellers at the deadline.

Speaking of the ladies, I noticed the quality at games has been getting better over the last few years. Guess it's the "in" thing to do now.

Yea, pretty quick game. Neither offense put up much of a fight until late in the game. Reds didn't have a hit until the 5th.

minor league baseall in th summer...........man oh man some h o t women.

Ran into a stripper once at a dragons game. Previous sat was with a bachelor party and I was trying to negotiate a price for a private dance for the bachelor. She was pretty pricey and I ws trying to talk her down some so I didn get some face to face time talkin to her. We saw eachother 2-3 times at the game and had that look like 'i know you from somewhere' I think it hit us at the same time actually where we had seen eachother before!
