Edit: Yep.
Wow, i'm surprised about this move, as bad as Talbot was at the start, he had really settled in. Pronk better make this work.

Who? Lonnie Chisenhall was called up today. Our top prospect, 3B, 2/3 tonight with an RBI.

I agree. I still think it's stupid as hell how Pronk is hardly getting any at bats on this NL road trip.

Really got screwed with that 2nd strike call. Made him swing at anything that resembles a strike.

Thank god Chisenhall came to carry this Tribe of bums on his back.

Fantastic base running by Santana. Not only did that cost us a run, but also if he just takes 3rd on that throw, Buck would have followed and then scored on Chisenhall's single. Would have been no reason for Acta to PH Pronk for Tablot there and he would still be in the game.

We sent Adam Everett to be DFA. Chisenhall was called up from Columbus this morning and inserted into the 7th hole. Nickname is the ChizKid, so naturally we resorted to the immature idiots that we are and made the resemblance to Jizz lol.

So is this a long term thing? Or is it just a true experiment?
Looks to me like he fits in pretty damn well.

Druby has no range at SS. No way it was him that made that play.

Yeah. The lack of fundamentals is REALLY pissing me off recently. The last couple weeks the baserunning, type of fielding, situational decisions etc have reminded me of the Wedge days. Mostly the piss poor baserunning.

He's our top position prospect and has been tearing it up in AAA. I'd venture to say it's as close to permanent as it could be.

No, he is considered the future. This is for sure long term. He is on the team for the next 3 years. If he busts, then thats it, hopefully its for much longer. Just 22 years of age. Tribe didnt WANT to bring up the youngsters (Phelps, Chisenhall and soon to be Kipnis and Gomez I think) this year before September. But the injuries and abysmal hitting forced their hand to this season.

So by the end of the year he'll be traded away?

No, that would be passed the trade deadline.

I'd say it is permanent barring he doesn't fall flat on his face. He raked in spring training but the Tribe brass said he wasn't ready defensively, he is transitioning to 3B after playing SS in JUCO. He appears to have an absolute cannon, and is definitely major league ready with the stick.

Wow... Why did the ump just squeeze Joe there? That was right down the middle...
I'm sure we'll suffer for it now.

Santana doesn't have a clue what he is doing most of the time. He has a little bit of ManRam in him I think. Hopefully he will turn into half the hitter to help excuse his mental lapses.

I know your being sarcastic, but no. I think if anyone gets traded it will be Kipnis, because of his position (2B) being manned by Cord Phelps, in theory, for the future.
