No Mormon (or anyone else) is going to stop you from doing what you want to do in your bedroom. I think most people are indifferent to it. I really don't care what you do in your bedroom. Some of the tactics that the gay community uses where they get in people's faces are a turn off. I know they just do it for attention, but it gets old.

You're wrong. The Mormons and Catholics and Southern Baptists have done everything in their power to stop us from doing what we want in the privacy of our own bedroom. Until very recently, what we do was illegal just about everywhere.

What abuse have you ever faced? If anything folks I know bend over backwards to accommodate gays since they don't want to appear "homophobic". I've seen it with my father-in-law in restaurants and other public accommodations, again what do you want, a cookie?

I almost got fired from a job because I'm gay. There are a lot of people who stick their noses in our business. One of the reasons I moved to Seattle was to get away from this bullshit.

Well, maybe we should make ALL drug's and using them legal also, since church's preach against that. Maybe we should do away with DUI's, since church's preach against that. I mean, we dont wan to discriminate, right? Drugies, dealers and drunks all have rights also, right? They should be free to do whatever they want, right? Churches have no bearing on what is legal and illeagal in this country, politicans do. How has the church "done everything in their power" to keep you from doing what you do?

If there was a homo rally in my hometown, and I got "up in people's faces" about how I feel about homosexuality, I would prolly get arrested for some "hate crime". But, its ok for you to do it? Id say that America is pretty tolerant AND accepting of how you people want to live your life now. You are allowed to have your own "olympic" games, parades, rallies. But, your rights are infringed because you cant get married? We could be like the Middle East, and kill all of you! Id say be happy with what you have.

Let’s take a different example. Until fairly recently, it was illegal throughout the U.S. for straight people of different races to get married. Ultimately giving them the right to marry didn’t take anyone else’s rights away.

The one thing that has to be made clearly understood is that giving gays and lesbians the right to marry or the right to join the military doesn’t hurt anyone else. We believe in equal human rights for everyone. We totally oppose hate crimes no matter whom they are directed against.

You're an idiot. Yes, people did care what I did. The reason the law was finally ruled unconstitutional was because two gay guys were arrested and took it all the way to the Texas Supreme Court.

I am no longer sexually active, so what I do is not for myself. I'm fighting for the rights of other gay people and I continue to do so.

My question is this ... The seperation of church and state ... Why doesnt this apply to this topic???? The reason is simple Its taxes and Insurance companies that dont want gay marriage ..They dont want partners being allowed insurance benifits .. A break on death taxes etc ... Sure the far right wing Nazi's "FOX" is going to oppose gay marriage because they play the morality police .. Just my opinion ... I say if two men want to marry or woman fine if they want to go to mayors court and marry fine .. If they find a church that accepts gay marriage I ask how can the state intervene? Ive never seen a gay throw his views or stuff in my face ... Alot of gays are in the closet because of general society and the way we all act ...I think we should be sympothetic to Fairwood . At the same time Im not a politically correct person .. Look if a guy comes from the ghetto and or the streets alot of homophobic phrases are in alot of guys vocabularies ..Its like Eminem and stuff he sings about and some of the not so gay friendly words he uses ...From what he says he has gay friends and he doesnt hate gays .. I believe him ...
