Ouch....best decoy ever
Punt goes flying to the far left sideline and 40 yards away Devin Hester is acting like he is going to return it and every special team coverage guy is going at Hester....Knox catches it and easily returns it for a TD....but refs call a phantom holding 30 yards from the ball.

Never seen anything like that. Great play, too bad a phantom flag was thrown. Probably because the ref was also fooled on the play.

I'm pissed, not because we would have won or anything, but that would have been the best special teams fake ever. 10/11 guys were running at Hester, none of them noticed the ball was on the left?

Cant call it a phantom hold. The replays were bullshit. They were all shown WAY after the play in question happened. The GB player had his hands flailed and was looking all over for a flag, then saw it and pointed. I would think he was being held while running down the field based on that reaction, etc.

I also thought it was odd that #21 whom the foul was called on, did not react when the foul was announced and he walked right in front of Mike Carey on the TV coverage.Laley23;910838 wrote:Cant call it a phantom hold. So they can draft Matt Kalil(OT) from USC? Last night during the SC-ASU game, the ESPN guys kept saying he had a great chance at being #2 in the draft. Top 10 but not #2.Laley23;910565 wrote:I really like Atlanta, but I hope they have the #2 pick in the draft this year lol.

Haha. Actually if the Browns ended up with the #2 pick, Id love another trade down. Get 4 picks in the first 2 rounds. Possibly 3 in round 1.sportswizuhrd;911381 wrote:So they can draft Matt Kalil(OT) from USC? haven't looked at their schedule, but I would say 19-0
18-1 if they have to play the Tennessee HasselGOATs
18-1 if they have to play the Tennessee HasselGOATs

Same here. I'm falling in love with Vontaze Burfict. Obviously not with a #2 pick though.Laley23;911385 wrote:Haha. Actually if the Browns ended up with the #2 pick, Id love another trade down. Get 4 picks in the first 2 rounds. Possibly 3 in round 1.

They are that talented. However they have no leadership at all. I mean honestly they were blowing all 3 teams out and even Romeo Crennel could of probably won those games. There was a point on 4th & 1 today where the Vikings went for it, only because AP wouldn't let his coach bring the FG team in. Literally he stayed in the huddle and told them to go back. So when the players are essentially doing whatever they want there is some problemsSportsAndLady;910496 wrote:Lol come the **** on

So everytime Peyton Manning has waved the punt team off the field, it's been a coaching weakness? Rightttt :rolleyes:Classyposter58;911439 wrote:So when the players are essentially doing whatever they want there is some problems

Not that it's really a surprise, but Jim Irsay says Peyton is not expected to play this year.

Yep. If things stood static, he'd be my first choice and, if he's still the top tackle, I'd take the Adams kid from OSU to play RT opposite of Joe Thomas with the 2nd pick. They HAVE to fill that gaping hole (RT) at some point. Could also see them using that 2nd pick on a corner like Minnifield's kid.Mulva;911393 wrote:Same here.
