Speaking of which, Arian Foster finishing 3rd in the league in rushing after playing 11.5 games. That's beast raping. I'll eat crow, I figured he was a one year wonder but I was dead wrong.

Matt Flynn throws 6 TD passes. Maybe Rodgers isn't the clear cut MVP if a back-up can come in and do something Favre or Rodgers never did.

Atlanta rolling Tampa 42-0 in the fucking second quarter. Raheem Morris is showing how quick a guy can go from hot young coaching commodity to unemployment this year.

So for those keeping track, Carson Palmer finished 4-5 as a starter (plus the 28-0 loss to KC in his 1st game where he came in for Boller) for Oakland with 13 TD and 16 INT. And they miss the playoffs.

But,

So the Raiders have that going for them at least.

Lol it was hilarious when idiots like skyhook and that one raiders fan was defending the trade. How many picks do they even have in this upcoming draft? What a joke.

We will see how the trade pans next year when Palmer has a full pre season and training camp and McFadden comes back.

Skyhook, you're actually thinking Palmer, at age 32, coming off a 16 INT season in only 10 games, is actually going to get better? You think even with a full off-season, he can take the Raiders anywhere? Maybe a division title in the pitiful AFC West, at-best, 10-6...but how much further than that? And IMO, that's the absolute BEST case scenario.

You were critical as hell of Palmer in Cincinnati...all you did was diss him. What's changed?

I wasn't that critical of him, maybe the last 2 years but there were extenuating circumstances too with the Ocho/TO stuff. Palmer still has the arm and he put up a lot of yards this year with no training camp/pre-season and sitting 9 months. Yeah he threw some picks but i expect them to be the favorites for the Division next year. Thats an improvement for the Raiders. McFadden is going to open up a lot for Palmer. The dude can still play.

Did they say that Victor Cruz didn't make the pro bowl? If so, that is a complete joke.

Greg Jennings getting in over him is horrible. But Megatron was obviously #1 and you could definitely argue for Fitz and Steve Smith over Cruz too.

The exact argument I made with Tom Brady and Matt Cassel. You disagreed.

Id say Bush did a damn good job "opening up a lot" for Palmer and he still blew.

Palmer is far too inconsistent. I think he may have one more good year in him, but what a pathetic trade the Raiders made.

Palmer is the gift that keeps giving haha. He is garbage. Glad to see he was QB of one of the teams we needed to lose. Right on cue, he throws a pick to seal their fate
