Yeah, I mean he's not in the top 5 and probably not top 10 but I understand saying it to a certain degree.

Ravens picked up an offensive lineman who once played in New England. Can't remember his name though. Now I'm wondering how good he is.

Mark LeVoir...nothing but depth. If he starts your O-Line is in trouble.

Andy Dalton does not look like an NFL quarterback, I know it's early but Mike Brown better swallow his pride and do something about the Palmer situation.

Rumors floating around with the uncertainty with Peyton Manning's injury that the Colts owner is trying to lure Brett Favre out of retirement.

These have to be Bengals local announcers, because they are seriously still praising Dalton. And he is playing fucking horrible haha

I got killed for saying he didn't walk on water in college, so be careful man.

Obviously he can improve but he looks nothing more than a game manager who turns the ball over, they might be best served to start Gradkowski and let Dalton sit for a while.

Yep. Looks like they shook the rust off of him real quickly.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is making that up. I don't recall many Newton fans on this board.

Damn, some people not even giving Dalton a chance before throwing him out. The dude is a rookie, with like 3 weeks of practice, in an offense with a first time NFL offensive coordinator and has very young targets around him, not to mention he was going against possibly the best defense in the NFL last night. If that isn't a recipe for disaster I'm not sure what is. If he looks bad the entire year, or even just the first half I could see writing him off, but it's not like he's stepping into a great situation to succeed here. I don't expect him to be a top 5 QB or anything, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt before I'm ready for the Bengals to get someone else to be the franchise QB.

In the first Bengals preseason game thread people were ripping him for saying Dalton was "not that great" in college.

Anyone know what happened to Charlie Frye? I was watching the Raiders game last night and he never came in so I assumed he wasn't on the team and then I looked on NFL.com and he isn't in the player directory.

I think he is still unsigned (free agent) and hasn't found a team. I'm shocked...

I heard Indy is talking to Denver about Brady Quinn. Thats why BQ played so much vs. SD.

Yeah, I think he should be on a team. Cincy should get a hold of him.

He was getting ripped for good reason. Dalton was a great college QB. You can't argue otherwise.

For some reason his (rydawg) argument keeps drifitng towards NFL potential. I have already told rydawg several times that I have no idea how good he will be in the NFL. For all I know, he'll be a bust.

Oh taht's why?

I thought it was because their 3rd string QB was too shitty to play many minutes? :D
