I think its worth starting the best players no matter their grade level. I'm already on record saying that based off what I saw at the scrimmage #10 should start at QB as a frosh because he looked to have the best mechanics and poise. If they have the desire to impose some will and get their teammates fired up let's get our best players out there and while we're at it lets start gameplanning to their strengths instead of forcing square pegs into round holes.

I said it months ago and I'll say it again. SCC football is done. Even with that waterdowned schedule, they'll be lucky to win 2 games.

And just like months ago I'll ask again. Is it that boring on the other 200 threads you troll on that you feel the need to kick a D6 program when its in a down spell?

Can SCC have a "waterdowned" schedule?
I'm sure the schools they are playing are bigger than them.

I don't think the playoffs will happen but I believe they will be better than some think. Some good athletes on this team.

Good luck SCC.

I agree that Football is down this year, the biggest issue with that is the football team has brought kids to the school. With the down years, the enrollment is suffering as well. On the other hand, I cannot agree with the "watered down schedule" comment. SCC ALWAYS plays a tough schedule and this year is no different...

8/26 Bridgeport- D6 team that is likely going to make a good run in the playoffs this year.
9/3 Ridgewood- D5 team that was strong last year.
9/11 Weirton Madonna- WV D6 team that speaks for itself... They were State Champs.
9/17 Toronto- D6 team that looks to be improved this year, might be a hard fought game for the Crusaders.
9/25- Bellaire- D4 team that is down the same way SCC is. This one may be the barn burner.
10/1 Wheeling Central- WV D5 team that also speaks for itself. Tough team.
10/9 Barnesville- D5 team that is back on track.
10/16 Weir- WV D3 team that the Crusaders will also have a good game against.
10/22 Oak Glen- WV D4 team that should be loaded this year.
10/30 LaBrae- D4 team that is always tough.

The Crusaders play a VERY HARD schedule. They appear to be anywhere from 2-8 to 4-6.

From what I understand Central will be without 1 if not 2 starters Thursday. One is a RB and the other a WR/DB

I didn't make it to the game last night but it was rough hearing the score. Just gotta take it one week at a time and try to make some progress each week.

SCC suffers another severe beating losing 41-0 to Madonna. I believe that makes it 129-7 on the season.

Wow, we must have really ended your team's dream season or continually dominated for you to take such glee during the current downturn of a D6 school. It's okay though, at some point we're going to right the ship and get back to business, meanwhile you're still going to be troll with a inferiority complex below the belt for the rest of your pathetic little life.

I have no dog in this fight other than being on various message boards for over 10 years, and I know SCC fans are proud when they win, and let everybody know it. I don't know the proper way to take it, but I would say just grab your ankles and grit your teeth and wait it out. Everybody finishes sooner or later.

Get your licks in now while you can. This won't go on forever, trust me, there's a boat load of talent coming up through the ranks, especially the current freshman class. Also notice how the likes of Bridgeport, Madonna, Weirton, Barnesville, et al have lined up to get on the schedule. Let's just hope they have the balls to re-sign those contracts when they're up in a couple of years.

As for Modell or Capone or what ever he wants to call himself.......he's a loser in life and probaly was a loser to the Crusaders many times.
