Just looked it up, Carter signed an 11-year deal in November of last year so he's signed through I think the 2021/2022 season, meaning until he's 37 years old. Gotta hope we get 7 good years from 26-33 out of him.

Jacked up though now, I bet Rick Nash just

Carter is a shooter, not a setup guy. But it will take a lot of pressure off Nash.

Bryzgalov deal done. 9 years, $51 million.

Holmgren is nuts.

I think the biggest factor was that the locker room probably looked up to Pronger more as a captain rather than Richards.

Heard Richards wasn't a great captain. He would pull a randy moss and disappear for games on end

Howson said he had a deal going for the CBJ's 2nd rounder, bit it fell through this morning. Me thinks it could have been this JML deal.

RDS in Canada is reporting another CBJ/PHI deal is in the works.

Campbell is a bit older, but I like him. Good assist-minded defenseman.

However, he does have a massive contract ($7.1 mil per season, signed prior to the 08/09 season) that I don't really want to be a part of.

Edit: Now there are reports saying Howson is shooting the rumor down.
