He'd be the only one.

Pretty sure shaq could dominate a league full of SF's

Rules were created because Shaq was so dominate. (defensive and offensive 3 seconds). And if I'm not mistaking, 5 seconds back to the basket as well.

Shaq dominated Hakeem, Dikembe, Robinson, etc. That is much more impressive to me.

Ok first of all dude.. the league was widened and the offensive 3 seconds was because of george mikan.. not shaq or wilt.. the 5 second rule was because of mark jackson... and shaq didn't DOMINTE hakeem.. you're crazy.. hakeem destroyed him the few games they played.. and the admiral held his own against him as well.. getcha mind right

And wasn't it a 9 ft. hoop then as well? Watered down basketball back then. I don't deny Wilt was great, but he was great in an era of basketball that couldn't touch college basketball now.

Any of them better than Bill Russell? Willis Reed? Kareem Jabbar? Walt Bellamy? Nate Thurmond? Bob Lanier?
Wilt was a better athlete than Shaq in his prime. If they had espn type 24/7 coverage back when Wilt played in his prime you would change your tune.
Not only did he play basketball at Kansas he ran Track and field won the Conference High Jumping Championship 3 years in a row, threw the shot put 56 feet, Tripled jumped over 50 feet and ran a 10.9 sec 100 yd dash and had a 50 inch vertical.
If Shaq was so dominant why didn't he EVER lead the League in rebounding?? assists?? Wilt did it 11 times and led the league in assists, the only center to ever do that.

Shaq played in a much better era of basketball. Better players: talent-wise and physically. Didn't Wilt play in an era where the hoop was 9 ft.?

Skyhook was right about Wilt. You can't compare players from different eras. Of course Shaq would've dominated anyone from the early days of the NBA. The truly great players are the ones that transcend their eras.

Shaq barely makes my top-5 centers of all time:

1. Russell
2. Chamberlain
3. Kareem
4. Shaq
5. Olajuwon

I thought he was sarcastically referring to an earlier post. Then I realized that was his post.

Maybe the first peach basket hoisted by Dr. Naismith was 9 ft. off the ground, but never in a professional league.
