I said IF they can prove it. They can prove it when the person admits to it because of pressure and the fear of facing other charges. A audit can bring criminal charges if they find proof of tax evasion and filing a false statement. A audit can bring criminal charges if they find proof of tax evasion and filing a false statement.
An audit isn't criminal. I stand by that factual statement
Auditing a company is the easiest way to make people divulge information about other crimes that may have been going on outside of the football players and it all comes back to the player violations being responsible for getting all of it started and bringing down more than a coach and a couple of players.
So the FBI investigation was???
Theft of University property is criminal and the University had stated earlier that someone had stolen players football equipment from the locker room, that belongs to the school.

Sports Illustrated quoted a tattoo-parlor employee, who asked not to be named for fear of retribution, as saying that nine other current Ohio State players swapped memorabilia or autographs for tattoos or money.

You don't need the guy receiving the weed to admit to the crime, all you need is witnesses to get things started. If you needed a confession for every crime, there would be a lot less criminals in jail.I know you are more knowledgeable about how things work, but you can keep debating it for the sake of arguing.

Yeah, but you need evidence. They aren't going to go out and issue misdemenor dimebag tickets based solely off of verbal evidence of a non-cop. Probably one of the funniest things I have ever heard argued. Basically, you're digging so deep for this it's hilarious



The investigation was about 1 drug dealing parlor owner dealing drugs, but things could expand beyond that one guy with new allegations coming out.

Is this like your inside info about the players being indicted in the drug trafficking? New allegations huh?

You realized he was fired by the BOARD for the combination of tat 5 then lying about it then the car situation. You are the one saying the he was fired over accusations made by a reporter as told by felons and "Ellis". Now who is the one lacking sense?

Why are you obsessed with the drugs? I said criminal charges, there could be charges against other people for other things, that all got started with this scandal going public.

So there have been players indicted on the drug trafficking? I'm not wearing blinders, I just think that you are typically not quite the best source for good opinions or info

according what i read here they had no proof on cars. and as far as lying about the tattoos they knew that from day one and yet gene smith and gordon gee were firmly behind tressel. i never said he was fired over accusations. i say there is more to the story. so you want to know who is lacking sense? you can find your answer in the nearest mirror.

Your hatred has made you insanely dense. Wexner pulled his support when he found out they were being investigated by the NCAA for the cars. Once again, not Gee nor Smith asked Tressel to resign, the BOARD did, their bosses. The board had wanted to ask for his resignation but Wexner stood behind him, as soon as he pulled his support, they pulled the trigger. Any other stupid shit you want to say?

The "there has to be more to it" shit is asinine. Why is it so difficult to understand that the black eye served up already was more than plenty to get most coaches canned at any university? Tressel was a hell of a coach and quite the spokesman, but he wasn't and never was bigger than the program...smh

There isn't an institution, anywhere, that would likely stand behind an embattled employee if the media were after that employee like they were after Tressel. Institutions, as a general rule, detest the spotlight and don't want everything focused on them for an extended period of time.

When the NCAA decided it wouldn't be until August before any determination was made on Tressel's violation -- he was basically a dead man walking.

The thing I'm curious about is that Rife plead to a lessor sentence and in doing so he agreed to cooperate. The athletes might be small players but what happens when the Feds start asking Rife about how he was introduced, what went on and why players were hanging out there. Nothing good can come from those questions, if indeed they are asked.

I'll say it again, Jermil Martin is a guy to remember. I've heard he was the ring leader and if Rife is throwing him keys to his car, then Martin is certainly doing something for Rife.

Rife was an artist at Dudlyz or whatever, that's how they met him. How they got started at that place is the question. The connection to Rife is pretty simple and straight forward

I thought Dudleyz shut down and they just ended up at Rifes. I never knew Rife worked there. Is that a fact?

I believe that is how they know each other. I know in the indictment it is mentioned that Rife was selling merch to the Dudlyz owner and they had known each other for quite some time. If he didn't work there then the Dudlyz guy definitely pointed them towards Rife
