I thought this article was going to "drop a bomb." OK, some OSU players -- most from inner cities -- sold some gear for money and weed. Yes, that is against NCAA rules, but I thought this was going to be so much worse. Kindof relieved right now actually.

And OSU got caught. But this same exact shit is happened all over the place. Yes, its wrong, its against NCAA rules. Not condoning it. But its not Reggie Bush living on a hillside with his family in a million dollar home.

Idk if you know this but...real investigations by the NCAA/Feds require actual evidence...not just what some criminal tat artist said anonymously.

Yeah, I'm not going to lie. I was prepared for someting much worse than that. The basis of the story is that more than the original 5 players were getting tattoos.

The only real juicy bit was that Jermil Martin might have gotten Rife Rose Bowl tickets and some other stuff in exchange for a new car.

This. SI did a hell of a job of framing the story to get readership, but outside of giving more information regarding an expansion of tattoogate, it was nothing new.
