As much as it would thrill the media and Democrats to see the R's slugging it out on stage in front of millions, all 7 of the "dwarves" know whom is the actual opponent. While each of them wants to receive the nomination, they are not going to have a free-for-all on a national forum just to satiate those desiring their downfall. I regard Pawlenty's remarks are respectful of his Republican brethren and my opinion was that he was giving Romney the opportunity to explain the differences between his Massachusetts plan and the one we are all destined to succumb under. I personally don't think Romney can do it as he will have to become a wonk to describe the idiosyncracies...which gives the impression he's splitting hairs and parsing words; both undesirable traits for someone seeking to run against the real opponent.

Didn't use the prompter against McCain and he pretty much owned him. None of these Republican candidates are capable of an original thought, as all of the spouting we hear from them are the standard talking points. Pawlenty is a hypocrite who has no balls. He runs around on Fox News using the "Obamneycare" term and then doesn't have the guts to say it when Romney is face to face with him.
