Yeah it was pretty incredible and surprisingly under control. I spent most of my night at a party on 11th but walking around through Chittshow was sweet.

Some people from OU that I know came up here for this and they said it was bigger than Palmer fest.

ya i went to ou my freshman year and have been to the past 3 palmerfests and live on chitt now, and it was definitely up there in size with palmerfest although palmer has a ton of backlots that people party in spacing it out a bit

This isn't from woodefest, but a few years back at red white and boom, as soon as the fireworks ended we started heading for the car. There was a loud noise like a gunshot and everyone dropped. Within 5 minutes the cops were everywhere. Told everyone to get on the sidewalks and off the streets. These 3 guys walked past us and another guy came up trying to catch them. They got ahead so he stepped off the sidewalk to go around a few ppl. This female cop yelled at him and he said he just needed to catch up to his buddies because he had no idea where they had parked. He wasn't mouthy or loud even. She started macing him and everyone in the area. As soon as she sprayed it, she literally ran to the other side of the street. Most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Completely unnecessary and over the top.

There's likely more to the story than you are sharing. Expand on the part where he didn't comply.
