Hard to judge by that though. He's not had a chance to string 5 or 6 starts together, so it's hard to tell what he would do as an everyday player. Fact of the matter is, it's going to be a 3-man platoon w/ Heisey as the 3rd guy for the rest of the season.Midstate01;772350 wrote:Heisey is hitting .205 when he starts. Not great. Volquez needs to stop putting them into a hole. yes, he pitched well after that but cannot expect the reds to continue to make comebacks after down 3 runs all the time.
