I dont think Anthony deserves alot of credit. The guy is an average at best defender, he brings nothing to the table at the offensive end and he doesnt hit the glass

Completely disagree

Yeah. I'm not going to give the guy alot of credit because of 1 good half of basketball.

He plays well defensively every game though, D Rose forcing the issue and out of control

I'm not going to take you seriously until you've watched more than one half of a Heat game. He's been great all season.

Great? Its Joel Anthony. I dont think I would use the word "great" to describe anything that he does on the basketball court.

Yes, as a starter for arguably the best team in the league, for a guy making 18 million over 5 years, he has been great.

Anthony has 3 points, 4 boards and 5 blocks in the 1st half. And so many great defensive possessions that don't show up on the stat sheet. He's been awesome.

The dude probably should have won DPOY. He makes make Dwight Howard look like a total bitch

The guy is having a good game. I'm sorry if I'm not ready to crown him as a great defender.

Why do you think everyone has to be Michael, Kobe, Shaq, Howard, etc., to be great? You can be a great role player. He plays his role as well as you could ask him to.

I just said I think he's a great role player. When did I ever say he was Kevin Garnett? Christ. STFU, the guy proves himself--get off your keyboard and watch the game and you'll see it. He's literally done it all season. Heat fans know this, and are probably the only people on this site that have watched more than 10 Heat games this season.

Ease up little fella. I'm entitled to my opinion. There are plenty of guys like Joel Anthony in the NBA, hes nothing special.
