Rolen has been terrible on defense since he came back. What was that he said while he was on the DL? Didn't say he wouldn't practice ground balls because he had done that enough in his career? That seems to be coming back to haunt him now. He has looked very rusty.

On that rundown play right there, why don't they ever, when they have the runner hung out in the middle like that and the defender with the ball is looking right at 3B, throw it to 3B to get the runner(Zambrano) coming into 3rd on a quick tag and still have the originally hung up runner still hung up for a DP? I think proper timing would make it work fine.

I think it was, under the circumstances. He had to get up to get the ball off the top of the bounce, so he was off balanced from that and still delivered the ball in a good spot...just took a bad hop and Hanigan couldn't handle it.
