Two game set in Kansas City and everyone should be nice and rested for this series. Tribe coming off back-to-back washouts and the Royals were rained out on Sunday in Detroit. That game was cancelled early so they will just bump Davies back to tomorrow.

Probables:

8:10 Monday Carrasco (1-2 5.29) vs Davies (1-5 7.08)
8:10 Tuesday Masterson (5-1 2.73) vs O'Sullivan (2-2 3.79)

Royals had just taken 2 of 3 from the Yankees in the Bronx before running into the red hot Tigers, where they dropped both games this weekend. The Tigers have won 10 of 11.

Weather report for Kansas City looks great. Monday will be a high of 67 and Tuesday a high of 68. According to weather.com, there is 0% chance of precipiation either day, so plan on baseball tomorrow.

I think Josh Tomlin will be your starting pitcher tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure Tomlin is going to stay in his spot and pitch Thursday. Acta said he would be available out of the bullpen since Monday is when he would normally pitch a bullpen session after a Saturday start.

You could be right but this would give Tomlin like 9 days between starts. www.scoresandodds.com

The Vegas ppl seem to think Tomlin will start. You have to click on May 16th to see it.

From Castrovince's twitter:

Indians rotation simply pushed back a day. Tomlin goes tomorrow in KC.

KC fan using stats to try to prove that Kyle Davies is the worst starting pitcher in the history of baseball

I just hope he's bad tonight.

It's a good thing we are on the road this week. The weather here in Ohio sucks!

And I'm not gonna comment on pitching match ups. The last time I did that, it backfired. We should be well rested and Grady should be back.

Grady Sizemore placed on 15 day DL. Travis Buck called back up.

Ill say it...why not pitch Tomlin and skip Carlos Carrasco to keep Masterful on the normal rest?

Of course, I say this just because I dont want Carrasco to pitch lol.

I knew as soon as Grady had the weird slide into 2nd base that he was going to come up sore.

Hopefully he can get some solid rest and continue his good season.

Luckily for Cleveland, Brantley is looking like a young star about to blossom at the top of the order.

Amen to that, brother! It's taken our HS team 4 days now to try to complete one tournament game!

Yeah, this weather in Ohio blows. I keep missing work, and I am what you would consider "living below the poverty line" as it is.

I just visited the Reds Vs Cubs thread. Some of the Reds fans are saying the Indians are no way as good as their record. They think winning 2/3 next weekend at Progressive Field will happen for the Reds.

Bring it on and we shall see about that.

Before game time, I was just thinking about last year on here late in the season and how it was pretty sparse on the convo.

I remember NCF giving his dog out comments and then the minor league reports. I miss him.....hahaha!

And I recall Footwedge getting into it with HitsRus about something and calling each other "dicks". That was funny. Two old guys going at it. And Footwedge going off arguing about an "earned run" situation.

Anyhow...Isn't it nice to deal with a situation like we now have rather than that stuff? ;-)

I've crossed paths with huddlers and chatterers....but never, ever, had an argument with HitsRUs.
