I'm definitely going to attend the Hillsdale/Norwayne game. I know of several Orrville folks that are planning on going. If Norwayne beats Smithville the week before it sounds like they will be in the playoffs for sure. It cant hurt to get a look at them. It will give everybody a chance to talk about them afterward. I'm sure we'll see alot of them on Saturday night

The last few years I've contributed to the talk with potential scenarios and projected standings. Do you want my input again this year, too? Looks like you have it all under control. Without our Titans in the race, it's MUCH less interesting, and I'm not as obligated to participate. Haha!

We've had a tough season, that's for sure. It's tough to talk about a team that nobody else is interested except me and 4Ringz. Plus, our season has been much more negative than positive, and I don't just want to get on here and be one of the people that second guesses coaches or attacks the effort of our kids like others do for other schools... I know all those involved - the coaches, players, trainers, etc - are trying their hardest. We're just not a very good team this year, plain and simple. We may have gotten spoiled the last few years, but we are taking our lumps this season. Hopefully we learn from it and come out a better team next year. I've been reading the site, but not posting. Still rooting for the Wayne County schools and can't wait until the playoffs get here! The big matchup of region 13 is #1 Girard 7-1 hosting #6 LaBrae 5-3 with this one worth 26.5 pts to Girard and 36.5 points to LaBrae plus a bubble spot on the line for LaBrae.

Probably not as of now Girard picks up 26.5 pts from LaBrae and Norwayne gets 28 from Smithville this week, but in week 10 Girard plays Liberty and only gets 4.5 points while Norwayne gets 40 from Hillsdale. Now that's with both winning out, Norwayne would take a slight lead and then the 2nd level points would decide it. So Girard would need their opponents to help out and win , while Norwaynes opponents would need some losses to help Girard. A key game in week 10 for both could be Manchester vs CVCA, as Girard would get points from a Manchester win and Norwayne would get points from a CVCA win as this would be a 4.5 to 5 point swing for either team.

I did a quick projection of the top 4...and assuming all 4 win out, here's what I have.
1. Norwayne - 24.80
2. Girard - 22.25
3. Orrville - 20.90
4. Black River - 20.45
Orrville and Black River will basically come down to 2nd level points for 3rd place. Orrville's points were assuming that Triway wins 1 of their last 2. If they go 0-10, it bumps Orrville down and may just end up in a tie with BR for 3rd at best.
Any loss by these teams over the last 2 weeks scraps these projections.

MY guesses as to week 11 possibilities, assuming 1-4 win out.
(8) Cle. Central or LaBrae at (1) Norwayne
(5) Canton Central at (4) Black River
(7) Manchester at (2) Girard
(6) Brookfield at (3) Orrville
