Today is a great pitching matchup. I knew Shelids has been great this year, but upon further review, he has been even better.

In his last 3 starts, he has pitched 24 1/3 innings and has given up 2 earned runs. He has struck out 24, including 12 Angels 2 starts ago. He has walked 6 in this streak, so hopefully we can work him for a couple of those. He also threw a CG shutout vs the Blue Jays, in which he gave up only 4 hits.

Good news. The Tribe have a great history vs Shields. He is 0-4 lifetime vs the Tribe and the Rays are 1-5 in his starts vs us. So maybe Cleveland is in his head.

Hopefully Masterson can be great again, today. I have a 1:40 tee time so I will be watching the last part of the game on Gamecast on my phone. Go Tribe. Go win another series.

God this sucks. Not on TV, but is on MLB Network, but I dont wanna listen to the Rays announcers!!!

Ill have to check the paper, but on the drive in 10 minutes ago, none of the 3 stations that carry the Tribe in Toledo had the pregame on.

Not looking good. Tribe offense has been struggling recently, so an early 4-0 hole is not good.

Shields has only walked 12 guys in 53 innings. The one thing he does do a little is give up the HR. Just have to scratch a hit or two out before hand.

Man I go to eat lunch and come back and they're down 4-0. I heard it was Choo's fault but I'm not certain? Guess we gotta come back today. It can be done, still early.
