Bends-era Thom Yorke was as good as a singer as there was in the world. At the time, he was right there with Richard Ashcroft, who I believe is the best of our era. Although, to be sure, Ashcroft is criminally unknown. A shame.

Also at the festival was Devon Allman's Honeytribe. Yes he played this one and One Way Out along with his originals. After this song he said "I tried to play that one loud enough for my grandma to hear it down the road." He is the son of Gregg Allman and Gregg's mom still lives about 2 miles from City Island. It was a great set.

The final act headlining the festival was Victor Wainwright and the Wildroots

Their new album "II" dropped yesterday. It's awesome.
First one I actually recorded in about 8 months. I've been slacking...to say the least.
A little progressive and electro house....some new tunes I've been diggin on lately.
Is there a term for these long techno/electronic/trance/house/etc mixes that lasts for hours or are they simply just called mixes?

These guys were awesome last Friday in Cleveland.
And Little Hurricane opened and really surprised us. They were great:

And their drummer is really good looking.
