The class in question, called Political Radicalism or Poly Rad is offered at both Worthington high schools and is a Senior level elective class that is designed to challenge and inform on many of the various difference that people have in this world without trying to convert or change anyones mind...but open it to differing points of view.
They have had representatives from many different religions, the KKK, Aryian Brotherhood and the like to allow for a genuine discourse for the students. No confrontations are allowed and no 'recruiting' from the guests are allowed. The class is heavily monitored by the administation of the school...even to the extent of using conference calls for any particularly controversial groups.
Both of my kids took the class while in high school and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
