Yeah, good point. If I was Saban, I'd go it for it on 4th down now that I think about it. You score, you win. You don't score, they have to go 99 yards to beat you.

Running up the middle with anyone multiple times is just stubborn and narrow....pitch it out to Ingram and pass the trophy around....run up the gut and watch Texas do "it" again for the 4th time in the past 5 or 6 bowl games (Michigan, USC, OSU didn't learn)

Alabama might want to put it away or leave it down there at the 1

wouldn't be a bad idea, especially with Texas likely being out of timeouts due to wasting one before that last punt. Terrible timeout there

You have the Heisman winner in the backfield along with Mt. Cody. No reason not to go for it on 4th down.

I suppose some people will say Mack Brown should have had Gilbert take a knee on that play to prevent that ugly turnover!

Hats off to the kid. he played one heck of a game for Texas. IMO this will make Texas a better team starting next year. I am not even a Texas fan.

Williams dropped 5 passes and 1 for a touchdown. Talk about not helping out your freshman quarterback.

I had 24-20. Does that mean I win the tiebreaker since you had 24-14 (I think)?
