Texas was taking it in with ease with McCoy.

Maybe the next possession they get three and it's only 10-0 but still that would've been a better start than 6-0.

Alabama would've still ran the ball and scored but Texas would've continued to add points and keep it real close.

I didn't want Texas to win but I think they were going to win. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't say that it didn't matter, Alabama would've won anyway. It's football and injuries happen but no way can you say that Alabama would've won either way.
I just don't think that Colt would have made a huge difference. Sure he's better than this kid, but Bama's goal line defense steps up big every time in the pass and the run. I think they would have stopped him.

Either way, I just don't think it's fair to say that if a team had "X" player, they would have scored, or won, or anything in any situation.

No matter what happens, I'm impressed with Texas. They have given a hell of an effort without their starting QB.

Down 3. What a great game so far. Texas D has to get a stop here. What an unbelievable win this would be if Texas can complete the comeback.

I don't understand that kickoff. I know you don't want to give them a chance to return the ball, but just giving it to them at the 35 seems stupid.

Texas was going in on the first series. I won't even back off that.

They were running Alabama all over and then got down in the red zone and scored but had the penalty. With McCoy I guarantee they punch it in 1st-and-goal at the 4.

Alabama really put themselves in a hole early on and the Texas offense didn't have to do too much.

The second possession even if it ended in three would've made it 10-0.

Now you're seeing how the game would've gone if McCoy had played with his experience and confidence. They would've been able to move the ball on Alabama.

Instead they had a two quarter drought with a quarterback that never played before.

I guess I'll agree that you don't know who would win for sure but I think it works both ways. You can't say Alabama would win either way. The injury was a major subplot and it changed the dynamics of the game.
