Someone..Buster Olney or Tim Kurkijan, said something about the Royals being two years away from World Series contenders because of the young guys in the bigs and their talent in the farm. Hyperbole..maybe, but you can see the stuff the last 2 guys they have brought in have. Both hit 96/97 easy and will be solid backend bullpen guys with Soria in the future.

Matt LaPorta needs to work on his throws to second...man that is twice now this season where the Cabrera's had to make a big time play just to catch the ball. That should've been an inning ending douuble play.

Initially yes, but the runner didn't realize it and wandered off the bag and we tagged him out.
