Seems more like speculation. I hope he does, one less headache for the Buckeyes this year.

He really would be dumb this of all years. He would forgo his senior year to get drafted and not get paid and to not play.

WTF are you talking about? I assume you are referring to the CBA issues? You really think the guys in the draft are not going to get paid?

FYI... :(
UPDATED 2:59 p.m. ET: Adam Jardy of the Buckeye Sports Bulletin tweeted the following shortly after NFP’s post, further casting doubt on the report that has Pryor considering making himself available for the supplemental draft.

“Talked to someone very close to Terrelle Pryor who told me he has never once mentioned the Supplemental Draft. Stop that rumor right now.”

Still cannot fathom how human beings can honestly feel anger towards a 20 year old kid for selling something that is theirs, taking advantage of their stardom to obtain certain perks, and living a college life like everyone else is just without the popularity.

Because said actions led to disclosures that hurt the team?

Overall, it seems a stupid rule (if you aren't going to allow them to sell the stuff, don't give them stuff that can be sold with the NCAA being so anal about athletes not getting ANY special treatment), but if it exists and players breaking it does hurt their team, it's pretty easy to understand why people would be pissed off about that.

S&L, it's the sum of all the parts with TP, not just this one incident (three citations while driving loaner cars, assinine tweets, etc.)...and, IMO, he's worn out his welcome.

So you're just going to let a few bad things ruin the many GREAT things he's done for the university? Don't give me this "sum of all the parts" crap...no one said anything bad about Pryor off the field until this tattoo thing came out.

Yeah, that article seems like a lot of speculation & unfounded rumors.

As for Pryor, the next 9 months will pretty much make or break what I feel about his legacy at OSU. He's done some great things on the field, even though those aren't enough for the people expecting 3 Heismans and 3 Natl Championships. He's also done some dumb things on & off the field. If he keeps his head on straight, works hard, and comes back for a great Senior season, I'll have good memories of his time at OSU. If not, then there will be a sour taste in my mouth.

It never ceases to amaze me how people so quickly say "Good riddance" or "See you later" etc etc about TP. This isn't Ray Small we're talking about here.

Dunno, multiple BCS wins and possibly the best QB to ever play at OSU statistically?

BTW, Pryor just this past week took time ON HIS OWN to meet and talk to a friend of mine who is dying of cancer. Not a young kid, a 34 year old normal man who is a huge Buckeye fan. A few people get access to practice, but any player that came and talked to them was totally on their own accord.

That's nice, LJ, and I hope your friend rebounds and goes into remission..but, let's not get all gushy about TP and his OSU legacy until this entire fiasco plays out. I've been bashed on here on more than one occassion for wearing the glasses and drinking the Kool Ade, but his welcome has wore itself out as far as I'm concerned.

I just think his biggest problem is he is dumb. Him being arrogant, it's hard to really get on someone about that when they have been told that they are the greatest their whole life. When people talk about "oh that person is so humble" that''s usually because the person was raised that way. It just seems that TP was raised in a way that he has always been told he was the greatest, so he acts that way. It's hard to break the habits of everything you have learned.

The only people wearing out his welcome (that phrase itself is old fashioned and outdated) are OLD, old-school Buckeye fans--fans who do not realize the game is changing; that no longer are certain sports players "heroes" in Americans' eyes. Just because he is the QB at OSU does not mean he has to live his life the way you old school people want him to. So what, he's been cited a few times by the police? So what, he says some stupid shit via twitter and other social networking sites? You're going to discredit the fact that he has won multiple BCS games and could possibly go down as the best QB in Ohio State's history just because you don't like the way he acts off the field? (if he wins a title this, he will be considered the best and it won't be close). By the way, you only hear about the bad stuff now a days. News outlets don't report stories like LJ's story because that isn't "spicy" that's not going to get them the ratings they need. They only report the bad stuff...thus throwing off the perception of said player...and perception is reality, unfortunately.

As Stewart Mandel from SI tweeted earlier today:
Journalism in the age of Twitter: A bogus "report" about Terrelle Pryor spread 10X faster than actual news of a D-1 point-shaving scheme.

100% agree. And to my knowledge, the only trouble with the law that Pryor has encountered has been via a traffic citation for speeding. No fights, no drunken disorderly, no DUIs, etc.

Like I said, no one had any serious issues with Pryor off the field (many were critical of his on-field performance, however, which is even more hilarious) until the tattoo incident. I mean if people really want to complain about their starting QB because he says ignorant shit on twitter, well..they're sad human beings.

The same ppl who can't stand him now, are the same ppl who wanted him in over boeckman from the start. Pryor has won us games. Hasn't been into trouble with the law.
I could care less that he sold items. I know it's against the rules and was stupid, but anyone who thinks it's a big deal is kidding themselves. The NCAA is a crock, making this a bigger deal then some of the real problems in college sports.

If there is a lockout, there will be no paychecks for anyone until it is resolved. Drafted players would not be able to sign a contract...therefore no pay. Its really not that hard of a concept. I am sorry it confused you and drew a vitriolic response.
