Hernandez has been money behind the plate tonight. Strike em out, throw em out to take it to the 9th.

What an 11 pitch battle between Bray and PH Cantu, ending in a strike-em-out, throw-em-out DP to end the inning! Two tag outs on the bases in the inning!

Former Reds looked silly in that inning.

One failed to get a runner from 2nd to 3rd on a bunt..then got caught stealing
One struck out

And it was Rolen who made him the hero rather than the goat!

Cantu may have looked silly on the last pitch, but that was a great AB he had - took everything Bray had to get him!

I wanna know how the hell you ever learn to pitch like that? Looks like that would be hell on your arm.

So how many will be on base when Cordero ends this? I'm going with 2.

What is Coco's chance to get a save with a one run lead, about 62%? Defense makes it a lot better, so don't give them any free passes!

Defense couldn't do anything about that 3-2 blooper!

Cordero's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pitches were absolutely brilliant in that at bat.

Great job by Coco to effectively handle the lead-off batter blooping one in to put the save difficulty up a notch. Lot less chance the lead-off batter scores when he reaches on a hit as opposed to a walk.

How often in SD do you win with all your runs coming on HRs?

I swear I'm a curse to the Reds. Every game I've watched in its entirety this year, they've lost....including the loss I attended at home vs Houston to conclude the home stand. I flipped this game off and turn it back on just now to find out they won. WTH, I'll take it.

Sounds like Volquez was money outside of the first inning, once again lol
