Veras does the job to keep the shut-out going. Need two more good innings from the bull-pen. I've had Walker in both days on my Fantasy team.

Solid effort marred by a bullpen meltdown in the eighth inning. Hopefully, that's just a fluke sub-par performance by Meek, as he's one of the team's top guys.

Ronnie Cedeno drives in Alvarez to make the score 1-0 Pirates in the top of the second. Diaz is on third, but with two outs and a pitcher who was just announced as 6-92 for his career...I'd be surprised if they got more.

Alvarez drives in a run to make it 2-0. He's 2-2 so far today, which is good to see, as he hadn't hit all that well the first two games.

Cubs tied it at 2-2 in the fourth after Ohlendorf had pitched three very strong innings. Could have been worse though. Bases loaded with no one out and then 2-2 with second and third, also with no one out.

Cubs tied it up in their half of the fifth. Ohlendorf's struggled the last two innings and I think the pitcher spot is up to bat for the Pirates this inning, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's hit for.

I do have to say that Castro kid is pretty damn amazing, even if his defensive overaggression cost them the deciding run. He just flat-out hit the ball.
