A Canadian high school student has been suspended from classes after confronting a school secretary about her extracurricular work as a porn star.

A 14-year-old student at Etchemins Secondary School in Levis, Quebec, has been disciplined after asking the office worker and adult film star for her autograph.

While she didn't do anything legal. People who deal with children on a daily basis have to have a higher ethical/moral expectations placed on them as they do have an impact on kids lives... I'm not just talking about teacher, but coaches included.

It sucks for this woman trying to move on, but I can see the reasoning.

I think the punishment is coming more from setting up a fake webpage.

Dumbass should have waited a few years after turning of age and leaving school, then presented the evidence to the secretary with options.

Yeah, seems he is suspended for the facebook page he made, which I can see a valid reason for that punishment.

As for the secretery......eh....was it something she was still doing? Is she in front of students much if at all? I would have to do extensive research on her work to determine any punishment she should get.

I knew of a couple strippers who danced and such while going to college and became teachers. It is a little different but it is a legal profession.

If she was a teacher then, yeah, maybe if she still was active in porn it may be suspendable, but a secretery?

My comment was more in regards to the teacher who was also talked about in the article. The school secretary? I think you let her go for the above reasons as well as it is a school.

And clearly the kid was punished for the facebook page. On that I'm undecided on whether it was right or not.

Yeah, I'm trying to work this through also. The school's rule that he broke is what I am trying to determine. There's some potential legal issues outside of the school between the two parties but where the school has jurisdiction between the two is confusing to me.

I dont see how its possible for the school to punish the kid for making a fake facebook page.. I could see legal trouble, but dont see how he can get in trouble by the school.
I also seen something on the news a couple weeks ago where principals might start monitoring kids facebooks.. I dont see how that is possible/legal either.

Anyone else find irony in a(n ex) porn star being a "secretary?"

I bet the principal's wife is skeptical as hell now.

I thought about it as well! I be he's got a lot of explain' to do!

She's obviously attractive, but there's something about chicks with dark hair and that streak of blonde, that just turns me completely off! To me it yells trashy, but I guess being a porn star it fits!

I can see where the school would punish a kid who makkes a fake facebook page about a school employee.

As far as schools monitoring kids FB....well......there have been reports that potential employers have been known to check out applicants pages to see how they live and interact.

I dont know what they would expect to do if they find just slanderous remarks and such.

Indeed. When you put it on Facebook, it's public. You have no claim to "privacy" if you're the one making it "public."

I could see if the schools forced the students to allow them access to their profile, that being illegal, but not viewing an already public profile
