Tressel lied on the NCAA compliance form he signed in September, misled OSU investigators twice in December, played two players (Pryor and Posey) all season who he had a strong suspicion were in violation of NCAA rules and did not admit to knowing about those possible violations since April until Ohio State searched his email inbox in January after a request for its contents from Yahoo Sports.

Firstly, I don't think he "must be" covering up for Ohio State. For that to be true, I'd have to have the facts to back that up. I only bring it up within the realm of possibility because of the stench of fishiness I perceive to be stemming from this whole thing. And you cannot deny it is within the realm of possibility, since the facts are not known yet.

Secondly, even if I did think he was covering up for Ohio State, it wouldn't be because he could never do anything wrong. It is documented mistakes he has made in the past, whether his fault or not (although not many on here know what really happened at YSU). The only basis I have for considering in the realm of possibility him covering up is because of the magnificent consequences the entire program could face.

Again, I am only offering something that is within the realm of possibility at this point. I don't have any facts, and I certainly don't offer up my opinion with any certainty behind it.
