anyone else catch how Casey was acting at the end? He was either high or physically ill.

I thought he was going to puke. He was hospitalized two weeks ago for severe stomach ulcers and had to get a transfusion.

Hits, who do you want to give you a break? Me? No, I think we see this pretty similarly. I think Casey's act has been contrived from the jump. He covers up his lack of talent with big performances. I was very happy he got the boot and thought the judge's save was completely unwarranted.

Thia showed her complete lack of depth last night. I was surprised she wasn't in the bottom three. I loved the performance of Haley on Tuesday. I think she has more overall appeal then Thia, or Namia.

Thia should go home. Casey should not have been in the bottom 3. Also I want Scotty to go far but I am pulling for James so I can see him and Steven Tyler perform together. The problem with this show it's all up to who America thinks. I think the judges should have some say in the decision.

The judges have liked Casey from day 1, especially Randy who has the base thing in common with him. So this save doesn't surprise me at all. I was for it and have liked most of his performances, especially the bluesy stuff with the base. The problem with America voting is a lot of votes are based on popularity rather than talent and marketability. I don't think he will win, but I don't think he deserved to go last night either. IMO Thia, Naoma, and Stefano are at the bottom talent wise.

Whether you liked the judges use of the save or not...WHAT A SHOW.


Think about it.....Stevie Wonder, Sugarland, Jennifer Hudson, Hulk Hogan, Marc Anthony, a birthday celebration for Steve Tyler...all in an hour show. The 'non-elimination' was almost anti-climactic.

I think they will really regret using it, although he's definitely top 6 he's not top 3. That's who it should be used for. I could see some week people forget to vote for Pia and she goes home because everyone assumes she's safe.

Good points. It would suck if James, Pia, or Jacob (IMO the top 3) were voted off early.

He does have a powerful voice but don't you agree he sounds funny at times? It sounds like he has something on his tongue. I just don't think he is someone people will want to hear on the radio.

I agree with Bigdaddy. Sure Jacob has talent but is pretty limited to a certain range of music. I would never buy one of his records, but that is just my opinion.
