What moves??? What is Sullinger's go-to move?? He plays a power game and rarely faces up ..for a freshman he is amazing in the post. His footwork and moves down low are phenomenal.

Laley23;725345 wrote:I think Sully has good post moves, when utilized. But too often he just kind of jumps into the defender. In the Big Ten the idiots would foul him, but last night it seemed as though Harrellson stayed straight up every time and if Sully made it, he made it...but it worked as quite a few times Sully wasnt even close and even had a few blocked.
Yet, he was neutralized by a kid who played a total of 88 minutes last year and is not considered to be a defensive stopper.Do you even watch OSU? He has a great spin move and drop step.

don't patronize him, Auto..he's delusional, and feeds off this kind of stuffAutomatik;725343 wrote:Do you even watch OSU? He has a great spin move and drop step. Although not that much, I"ve also seen him utilize the baby hook effectively.
Like I said...his footwork is amazing and thats what I would interpret as a good post player.

Now you can shut up. No need to thank me.
As for your analysis of Sullinger, it's not too far from the truth. Sullinger is much better at facing his man leaving him the ability to hit jumpers (like he did all of high school to become the high school POY). His back to the basket game is still very raw, and we saw what Harrellson was able to do defensively about that. Sullinger's footwork IS extremely good, but because of his bigger body, he's not able to elevate above bigger defenders (like Harrellson). That's why I think Amir Williams coming in is HUGE next year because Sully can slide back to the 4, his natural position, and not worry about playing back to the basket every single play.
I said he didn't have great post moves and he doesn't.Yeah so? You said he wasn't skilled in the post and you are off. Wayyyy fucking off.
Kids are coachable and have the ability to improve.
Thank you.As for your analysis of Sullinger, it's not too far from the truth.

Sullinger is big enough and strong enough to overpower many college players, but his post game is unrefined at this stage of his career.

Sullinger was 7/14 from the field(21 points) and grabbed 16 rebounds in 39 minutes. Harrellson was 7/9 from the field(17 points) and grabbed 10 rebounds in 34 minutes.21 and 16 is being "neutralized" as a Freshman by a senior on the biggest stage in College Basketball?

And if they hit their free throws. How many did they miss?Cleveland Buck;725094 wrote:This is why I didn't pick the Buckeyes to win it all. The best team doesn't always win it. Kentucky couldn't have played any better, they shut down the three point line for the most part and made Sullinger work for everything. With all of that, if Buford hits the 5 or 6 open looks he missed it still wouldn't have been enough.
