While checking the sites for any updates before I head to bed...I found a truly funny story regarding all the rumor-mongering and shitty journalism that has taken place during this coaching search. A guy from ISD decided he was going to test the journalistic integrity of the current media and start a completely unfounded rumor.

It spread like wildfire!

Journalism is not only becoming a dying field because of the lack of print media but because of the lack of integrity. This just proves this statement.

That is great stuff. The sad thing is it not only sports media that do this. I am sure there are reputable journalists out there, the problem is how do you know which one is which?

The same thing happens in reference to the allusion of greatness of some players. See: Tim Tebow and the like. Is Tim Tebow a good college football player? Of course. Is he the savior of the world like the media and ESPN make him out to be? I don't think so. All hype. But, it's their job. They have to justify getting paid for this crap somehow.

This is too funny! In the comments it says the story has reached Coach Bielema being asked to comment on the rumors.

That usually happens with everything. Completely false rumors about coaching, trades, etc.

Everyone wants to be first to break a story, not actually report what they research to be the truth!
