I mean look at what Bron is doing with his jumper now. It was broke as I am when he first came in the League and now it's becoming one of the more consistent ones.
Crazy to think he's only 26.

Exactly. If there's any aspect of an NBA player's game that is easiest to add, IMO it's a jumper. With the ability to work with shooting coaches in the off-season, it's not crazy to see someone shoot really poorly one year and much better the next.
That being said, I really want to see Rondo learn how to hit a jumper. I would enjoy watching him play more than almost any other player in the league if he can score off his J.

With Green in the lineup, who do you sit between Ibaka, Collison, WB, Harden, Durant?
Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Green, Ibaka...
Jeff Green is a Forward, so I'm not sure why he'd interfere with Harden. They traded Green to bring in some interior toughness. The line up I posted above would have been a much better line-up facing the Mavs.
Jeff Green at 6'9 can score and create his own shots, plus he's athletic enough to defend Dirk and give him problems defensively.

Kind of. He's a SF, definitely not a PF. He can't guard the bigs downlow and they traded him so they could shore up defensively downlow while getting more playing time for Harden, whose minutes were being eaten up by Green. Harden was averaging around 22 min/g before the trade and about 31 after it.

Chris Broussard just tweeted that the Pistons, TWolves and Cavs are discussing a trade which where Detroit would send us Rip and the 8 pick which we would absorb with the TPE. We would then send the 4 and 8 to the TWolves for the #2 pick. He says that we would then take Irving and Williams.

Hmm pretty interesting. I much rather take the pistons draft pick next year.

I would enjoy that. IMO the only 2 sure things in the draft (not sure thing like perennial all star but at the very least a good player) are Irving and Williams

I'd rather have Kanter than Williams.

Cavs are doing all the right things to rebuild their team imo. Let's not forget this deal http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/trade_100710.html.
Hopefully something makes the Heat falter from 2013-2017, especially when the Cavs are using their first rd picks.

If they get that deal done with the Pistons, why wouldn't they just keep the pick? 3 top 10 picks would be huge

I'd rather just keep the 1, 4, and 8 pick. Irving is really the only thing I care about in this draft, but why not get 2 other young players from him to grow with? Is Williams even a sure thing?

You and me both. I am guessing that he is either in high school or in his 5th or 6th year of college. My first guess was high school because of his inability to come up with an original thought (he usually bickers with somebody from his all-Pwn team or he cheerleads other posters who have a similar posting style). However, I find it hard to believe that he is still in HS with the amount of time he wastes on here. He's got to be in college.

My thoughts exactly. Most drafts are a crapshoot and while Williams is a great talent, there is no guarantee he'll be good. Take whoever falls to 4 and then hope you get lucky at number 8. With 3 top 10 picks, odds suggest that at least one of those guys will be good. If all 3 are good, then the Cavs might be back in contention sooner rather than later

they already have 4 picks, 5 is a ton. With the trade they made with Boston roster spots are already limited.
There is a great chance they trade the #2 pick in round 2 to move up into late 1st round anyway which would still give them 3 first round picks.

Yeah, I have the feeling Chris Grant isn't going to be shy about wheeling & dealing.

Not to sound like a jerk, but so what? Just keep improving your roster whenever you can. Besides there should be a large difference in talent between the guy they get with the 8th pick and the 12th guy on their roster currently.
They werent a good team last year either. So I'm not sure why they would want to protect roster spots for many of the players on the team anyways?

I'm kinda on the fence with this one. I'm not a huge fan of using the entire TPE to move up 2 spots in the draft, especially if either Kanter or Williams is still there at 4. Seems like alot to give up for a "tweener"

No player on this current roster should really be safe.

I was disappointed with Hickson's progression this year, but I think he is probably still a key piece, and then I was very impressed with Ramon Sessions. Shouldn't be a starter for them (especially if they draft Irving) and would be ideal as a Jamal Crawford type off the bench
