What are your thoughts on granola. It is oat based with some brown sugar, but almonds and whey. Wondering if it should be added to a fruit yogurt.

I assume whey and yogurt are out since they are both dairy.

HEALTH MYTH: Granola deserves an Oscar for convincing us it's healthy. A cup is 400+ calories of mostly sugar & fat.
Also, regarding this 'diet' without little knowledge of it. Just remeber this when reading about certain diets...
DIET DILEMMA: Top indicator you'll weigh more in five years? Being on a diet today, UCLA researchers say.
The best 'diet' for people is to understand how foods work and reading nutritional labels. I'm not a certified nutritionist, but the best diet is the 'get smart about food' diet.
Most named diets and workout DVDs are just trying to make money off of you. I'm not knocking P90x because it is very good at helping people stick to a workout regimen, but I believe I read in Men's Health that Tony Horton is not even a licensed personal trainer.

So if you can't eat yogurt what do you do to regulate your pooper? Do you take extra supplements?

Should have given credit to my source before. The Health Myth and Diet Dilemma came from David Zinczenko's twitter. he is the editor of Men's Health. He always posts good health facts on his twitter account and if you follow him he gives away Ipads.

sounds interesting, i'm curious to know how it goes.
and FWIW if you weren't such a pussy you'd go full on paleo eating and cook it all on a rock or a stick in a fire pit.

This recipe was also outstanding. We were both leery on it but we were both glad we decided to cook it. It was extremely simple as well.

No, you stop eating the things that cause your pooper to need to be regulated.

Uh, the bacteria in Yogurt is something that you need added to your diet. The live cultures assist in digestion. It's good for everyone, no matter what kind of diet they are on.

I am more of a protien (which would include milk, cheese, yogurt) / whole carb or no carb guy and not strickly paleo. Now steak comes from a cow, diary comes from a cow. Did Grok not know to milk the cow before he killed it with his spear?
