No absolutely not. You can't lose to CU, Nebraska, and USC and expect a 1 seed, no matter how well you were once playing.

I agree. Probably just gave the final #1 seed to a Big East team.

Or BYU if they win out.

Does anyone in the big 12 play defense. Always high scoring games it seems.

Does anyone in the big 10 play offense? Always low scoring games it seems.

Coming in to this game Texas was ranked # 2 in the country allowing only 37% from the field. They were also #12 in country allowing 59 points per game.

Still a ways to go and with all the upsets happening on a regular basis, Texas could still get in as a #1 seed..but highly unlikely with the losses they have. They are known for falling off late in season...could another one of those be coming?
So LALEY..what do you think of the Longhorns now? ;)

BYU has no shot at a 1 seed. Jimmer Fredette will be abducted by spacemen before that happens. I know by stating only that I'm not really adding to the discussion, but to keep reading that recurrently is a bit like reading about Dustin Pfeifer being NPOTY of Division I while playing for the University of Findlay. (Not sure if anyone remembers those "awesome" chats on the old Huddle. I'm sure Dustin's recreational basketball career for the Hancock County Gyroballers is going fantastic about now.)

BYU is playing for a two seed at this point. Maybe I'm off base here, but I'm certain I'm not.

^^^Lol, Dustin Pfeifer, those were the days. Those dudes used to span the shit out of the old, old, ollllld huddle.

Haha I remember those days... the CBB on the huddle was the best.

As for texas I don't believe they will be a 1 seed now. Id say they are Duke, OSU, KU, and someone from the big east.

How can you play physical with them. You blow on them and they get the whistle. And if they don't, K goes nuts on the bench

I think OSU and Duke are the only legit number 1s IMO. And OSU should get the number 1 seed if they win the Big10 tourney as the Big ten is either the best or the second best conference in the nation and they would have the best record overall.
