Apparently a cafe near the Seattle-Tacoma airport isn't allowing TSA agents to be served in their establishment.

While I find this funny, I don't think the people at this restaurant really understand that the TSA agents didn't make this new policy. That's like shunning people who work at a BP gas station, just because of the oil spill(I know, it's not a perfect example)...

True that the TSA agents didn't make the new policy, but 99.99% of the people that get searched by the TSA didn't have anything to do with terrorism either.

It'll only be a matter of time until someone gets involved and says the TSA agents rights are being infringed upon.

While I also find it funny, it's also childish.

However, it could very well be the best PR move they've ever had.

Funny? yes
Right thing to do? Absolutely not
Illegal? No, a restaurant has the right to refuse service to anyone as long as it isn't for the reason of race, creed, etc.

TSA members should make it a point that once a week they all eat at a restaurant right next to this place...and then send copy of the receipts to that place. Kinda like in the movie pretty woman when Julia roberts got bascially ran out of that store...and she walked in later with all the clothes she bought elsewhere and showed them how a big mistake it was.

Funny...but childish
