Rumor has it that Massillon and Perry will renew their rivalry starting in 2012 in week 4 AT Perry. The following year the game will be moved to the opener. Rumor has it, home and home for the forseable future.

Just another attempt to kiss the Fed's butt.
How can we play them week 4? League play starts week 4 does it not?

Don't forget, the "Ideal number for the league" is now 7, which leaves 4 open dates. Notice though the following year they move it to week #1.

Applauds Massillon for scheduling a home/home series. Steubenville wouldnt approve of this.

I'm not sure who was for and who was against. Why?

There have been some close games between the two, but the attendence numbers have been real nice.
This is a series that should have never been stopped way back in 86, these attendence figures show that this is a game the people want to see. Plus they're what....4 miles apart?

Looks like every game was in Massillon prior to this.

A few of those were at Fawcett.

Right.
I was just thinking that Perry's stadium won't be able to handle the crowd.

Correct, the 2000 regular season game, and the 2002 playoff game were at Fawcett, the 2006 playoff game was at Perry, hence the smaller crowd.

I'm surprised they got 7,000 in that crackerbox.
We played there in 1990 and pretty much took over the homeside since the away side was overflowing.

Well I don't know what it held in 90, but that was 20 years ago, they have probably added seats since then, there were alot of people standing along the fence.

Haha, I think they time it so that they roll by when the visiting team has the ball.
