During DP the Rockies 3rd base coach and longtime 2nd baseman Rich Dauer was manning first base on DP practice and Chris Nelson threw one to first as Dauer was watching the batter and the ball hit him flush in the face....nose broken but looked worse.

Delmon Young from the Twins to the Tigers today. Don't the White Sox and Indians need a RH hitting outfielder and how did they let him pass to the Division leading Tigers?

It probably screwed up his perception, considering that most hitters are over the plate or at least near it...as opposed to as far away as humanly possible while playing within the rules of the game.

Crazy that he found out right before he got on the team bus to go to Detroit. They probably made him walk.
