And the Phillies walk the lead off hitter and now the Braves leading 2-1 in the 11th.

Would love to be able to watch it. I despise Fox Saturday baseball.

And this one is over MCcann hits a 2 run shot. This is what happens when you leave the bases loaded.

Not over at all. Phils have Utley, Howard, and Ibanez to start the inning.

Harry Wendelstedt is unable to attend the game tomorrow night for Hunter's first MLB All-Star job. He is just not healthy enough. I used to be Harry's cable tv guy in Ormond Beach. Jerry Layne is umpiring his 3rd All-Star game, he is a part time local.
Ed Hickox grew up in DeLand, and I really think his life story would make a great movie. Ed was screwed by the labor strike in the 90's, worked back from the minors, got injured by a foul ball, came back and got hurt again in the head. He is the definition of perseverance.
Chipper Jones grew up here, Starlin Castro was playing for the Daytona Cubs just 2 years ago, and Rickie Weeks was born in Daytona Beach.

how's that for random chatter?

Ever heard of an exaggeration? I wouldn't be surprised that all 6 of your posts were about Chipper.

Looking at the reds schedule. If they can leave July surging 5 games, they have a good shot. August and September we finally get to play some teams below us. July is just brutal!!!
