Phillies beat the Fish 5-4 in 10. The Fish had a 4-2 lead in the 9th. The Fish have now lost 6 in a row and 14 of the last 15. The Phillies have won 9 of there last 11.
5 in a row is looking good.

Back at you now, TIGERS back into 1st place
Pirates at Featherheads tomorrow night , $1.00 dogs and fireworks, Pirates 2 games over .500 for the first time in a long time! Good matchup.

Chipper is having himself a night off of RA Dickey tonight. 2-3 with a HR and 5 RBI through the 4th inning. Trending worldwide on Twitter as well, kind of funny to read some of the tweets.

MVP just misses a walk off HR. If he would have made contact, he would have hit it to Decatur. Raw Dawg hit a PH HR to tie it, Braves Mets going to extras....

What a kick in the balls last night! NEEDED that win, vintage Mets, instead of finally having a winning record and cutting the wild card deficit to 2.5 games, we are still under .500 and 4.5 games out ughhh

Blame Buster Olney for that. He tweeted something about the Mets being 3 outs from .500 and about 10 minutes later they were headed to extra innings. Who'd have thought that Chipper leaving the game in the 8th would have worked out like that?

Seriously, IMO it's the 3rd best play I've seen this year
The Phillips play where he charges and goes between his legs to get Michael Bourn was the 2nd best IMO
The best play IMO is the Adam Jones going full go and jumping to catch the ball directly over his head and as he catches it his feet are both on the middle of the wall as his backside is facing homeplate.

Victorino ends the no no with a single to right on a 3-2 count with 2 outs.

Me's thinks you're missing the Asdrubal Cabrera DP on your list.Ironman92;806118 wrote:Seriously, IMO it's the 3rd best play I've seen this year

I thought the play Phillips made last night was more impressive than the between the legs play

Has anybody seen the AL v.s. NL record for far? Seems like the AL has been taking care of business as usual.

The Phillips play the other night I have seen many times...his positioning allowed him to go closer to SS than we are used to...the charging ball play coming in full speed and to tine it through the legs like that...better and more difficult IMO.
