Guillen hits a homer off weaver. Stares him down and walks like 7 steps. Weaver didn't like it. Was talking to him then the catcher said something. Then next pitch weaver goes way up and in and gets tossed. Then looks into tigers dugout and calls guillen a bitch. Lol.

Erick Aybar tried bunting for a hit to lead off the 8th, Verlander threw it down the RF line for an error. Verlander stared down Aybar as he stood on 2nd.

Nope, just broken up with 2 outs in the 8th. Terrible way to end it after giving them 2 extra outs.

Curt Shilling and Bob Brenly call it chicken shit....exact same scenario....unhittable in a 3 run game. Get over yourself and be ready for it...shit they just were shown up by your teammate.

Yeah I didn't switch over until the Angels were batting so I missed what happened in the bottom of the 7th.

Verlander two straight pitches at 101 in the 8th. Inhuman.

It makes me wonder if Houston had a ranking of Atlanta's top 25 prospects but looked at it upside-down.

i've never understood the "you can't bunt to break up no-hitter" argument. if it's 10-0, sure, but in a close game, i don't care about your no-hitter, i'm trying to do whatever i can to get on-base

Phillies just sweep the Pirates and extend their NL East lead to 6. Raul Ibanez had a huge day going 3-5, 2 HR and 4 RBI. Raul tied the game in the 8th on a 2 run shot and then Pence hit a double in the 10th and Ibanez rips a double to win the game for the Phillies.

Disappointing trade deadline as a Reds fan, IMO. They were in just about every rumor and I feel they could have legitimately upgraded the team.
