Earl Bruce got Art into gambling. Earl likes to bet the ponies at Beulah and Scioto Downs. He'd take Art with him when he was playing QB for him.

There's nothing wrong with betting on ponies. Lots of people do that. But they don't lie, cheat and steal money from anyone and everyone.

I never really saw him as a little prick, but I didn't go to school with him either. Never did anything to me. Oh well, shit happens.

I remember an article about 10 years ago whereby Art mea culpa'd his way throughout.....and said how horrible he felt about fucking so many people. In that article...he interjected this...I'm paraphrasing..."as bad as it was...there were a couple of huge hits. One day I hit 3 3 teamers and 2 2 teamers and won 178 grand".

For him to make such a comment...I knew he would never, ever quit.

He was an "analyst" (if you can call him that, all he did was harp on how shitty the OSU football team was this year) for 610 in Columbus and when talking about games he would literally say "I am putting my money on *blank*". Then 610 acted all surprised when this popped up.

He's an extremely flawed human being, if folks want to help him - just let him go. Ohio State should sever all ties to him, likewise the media shouldn't enable him. If he truly wants to live as a man, forget about football and just be a man.
