Well the binge drinking part fits me, but I really don't eat fried or fatty foods. Over 57 years old ??? I don't think my liver will ever let me make it to 57. </SPAN>I drink wine one bottle per week with dinner or just with friends (with friends I may knock off a bottle myself) , Irish coffee after most dinners when eating out and sometime at home before bed, beer maybe on the weekend if I worked hard or played hard beer is really cold. 12 pack or more per month ...

Got Founders Centennial IPA on the way from work today. I asked the guy if they got KBS, he looked at me and laughed. Then said no.

Should be a good beer weekend:
Wife just got back from Denver and brought back Great Divide Yeti and Belgian Style Yeti. Also have Founders KBS and Curmudgeon on the way from a buddy in Cincinnati. Pretty excited to sample all 4.

They do not. They don't have any beers from Russian River. I haven't seen it at the Party Source in Newport either.Come to think of it I have never seen it in any of my travels, even in Colorado.

Just opened a bomber of Sculpin IPA, also picked up a 6 pack of Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin. Funny they were both the same price.

also, finally found a few sam adam's beers that weren't overrated. The Black Lager and Whitewater IPA.

I've had it. I was prepared to be let down and trying to find flaws in it since rated so high but it really is an amazing beer. It's super hoppy (piney and citrus), has a pretty good ABV but is very crisp and highly drinkable. It is easily one of the best. I'm going to have to make it my mission to try and find that next time I'm in Colorado. The problem is I'll be in Western Colorado where their isn't a lot of huge cities.

Grabbed a bomber of Left Hand Wake Up Dead Imperial Stout yesterday after work along with some Founders Dirty Bastard. The Founders DB has been a fave of mine over the last couple months. Will try the LH brew tonight.

Also, any recommendations regarding Saison beers? Had the Sam Adams Rustic Saison last year and really enjoyed it but saw that it will not be in their Summer Styles variety pack this year. Read about Great Divide's Colette Farmhouse Ale and the reviews were good. Anybody on here had it yet?

I believe the Saison Du Buff is being produced again. (Collaboration between Victory, DFH, and Stone). I've had Hennepin from Ommegang, Saison Rue - The Bruery, and Brooklyn's Sorachi Ace with my favorite being the Sorachi Ace...well that's the most memorable one since I've had it more recent. I'm usually not a Saison drinker. I still remember the first Saison I tried, Avery 12. It was awesome at the beer tasting so I bought a bomber. It was too much when I went to drink it at home and could only drink half of it. I let The Wife have the other half.

I've thought about getting the Dirty Bastard, but I always second guess a "Scotch Ale". It's good. I just had some Leinenkugel's Big Eddy Wee Heavy Scotch Ale over the past couple of days. I enjoyed them very much. My favorite is AleSmith's Wee Heavy, but it's pricy. They had that DFH Saison at Valley Wine Cellar too. So it's pretty good for a Saison?

It worked for me. I'm not really into Saisons. I mean I love the complex flavor of them, but some can be overpowering. I don't recall this one as being that way, however I've only had it a couple bottles of it and it's been a while since I've had it. With Sam, I like the Imperial Series. Or at least the Double Bock. Need to try more of the Imperial Series, since that was 9.3% and went down dangerously smooth.
