Just got back from the Jungle. It was $17.99 for a 6 pack.

I did pick up 2 more Rochefort 10's, a 4 pack of the Old 21, a 4 pack of Hoptimum, and a Left Hand Smoke Jumper. (Smoked Imperial Porter)

I did buy one other I've never tried before. A 12% Lager that I bought only because of the label.

Had a Laughing Dog CSB tonight. Thought it was really good. I would get it again if I run across it. Anyone recommend another good ESB?

lol that label is awesome. I would have bought it too....long as it wasn't $20 for a 6 pack. Thanks for checking BTW.

Lemme know how you like the Old 21. I'm beginning to love everything from The Brew Kettle. It's probably the best Ohio brewery honestly.

I'd go with Hoppin' Frog for best top end beers (BORIS and DORIS are fantastic) and still think Great Lakes has the best across the range quality. They have a lot of beers and rarely miss the mark entirely.

Brew Kettle is really nice though and one of the better brew on premisis places. I'd suggest anyone who's thought about homebrewing but unsure to try them, anywhere from $125-145 to brew 72 22oz bottles which isn't bad considering that you get entertainment from the brew process itself as well.

Will do, but didn't have any tonight. The Brew Kettle have never let me down yet. Just off the power from the White Rajah alone already proves that.

I did have some from a Local Cincy brewery I forgot to mention in my last post. Rivertown Blueberry Lager. I'm loving this stuff and if you've read anything I've posted on this thread you'll know I'm NOT a Lager fan. This is a great Blueberry beer to the point it's addictive. I want more, but have had enough for tonight...maybe, as that beer makes it so damn tempting to want more...MOAR !!!

Of course tonight, it's the sierra nevada pale ale. It's just too delicious not to drink.

I've got a stone smoked porter waiting for me to try at home. Might bust it out for the OSU game.

I had a triple hops brewed Miller Lite last night. It had 3 times the hops. I'm all for more hops.

Agreed. That's why I'm a Keystone Light drinker. Its smooth, cheap, tastes great, etc. Plus I can drink it and still have a life.

Just finished my first bottle of Sculpin, one of the best IPAs I've had. This and Hoptimum have quickly become two of my new favorite beers.

It's sweet and by sweet I mean sweet in flavor. I'm not picking up the Imperial in it. I actually prefer the White Rajah over this flavor wise, but I'm starting to feel the ABV from Old 21.

Maybe it is do to having the Hoptimum and Hopslam lately. Tonight it was 2 Rivertown Blueberrys and a couple or 4 of the Founders Session IPAs.

Maybe my palate is blown for the night, but I will buy it again. It's possible I got an old pack that the hops have fallen out of leaving only the sugars when the hops are gone. As I type this the second 21 is better than my first one. I'll have to try this again as I think it is my palate is toast.

Good Imperials are nearly always sweet? Gotta have more sugars to convert to higher ABVs.

I just think it was tasting sweet and I couldn't feel any bitterness at all. Actually it maybe because of the Simcoe Hops. They aren't a brash as any of the 3 C's that I'm used to.

Just got home from the beer store and picked up a couple gift sets. Duvel 4 pack which came with the Duvel tulip glass and a Chimay set which came with 1 bottle each of the Blue, Red, and White, along with the Chimay chalice. Have been wanting both glasses for a while so I figured might as well get the good beers to go with them. I put the Chimay Blue in the fridge along with two bottles of Duvel. Can't wait to have some later, it's been a while since I've had either beer.
