Didn't end up drinking any beer last night. Fail on me. Will try again today. Specifically looking to get double bastard tonight on tap at the wink.

Maumee Bay Amarillo Brillo out of a four month old growler. Lost a little of the taste, bit still can tell this is a top ten beer IMHO. Growler is gone. Peace.

Picked up a Double Bastard tonight on your recommendation. Probably crack it open during the game, I'll let you know what I think.BORIStheCrusher;1016425 wrote:Have one in the fridge, thinking about drinking it as well. I also highly recommend picking up Double Bastard while it's out now.

Went to Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh over the weekend. Brought home a growler of their Biere de Noel. How long do you think a screw top growler will stay "fresh" if unopened?

For those who have tried Arrogant Bastard how would you rate it? II remember someone talking about it before but I couldn't recall what the person said about it. Anyways I was out and about tonight and found some.

I think they said drink it within a week. We just had one four months old, it lost a little of the taste, but not too much.Wooball;1020464 wrote:Went to Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh over the weekend. I found it pretty good, nothing amazing that will blow you away but solid. Its high alcohol content will catch with you if you're not careful.bigdaddy2003;1020489 wrote:For those who have tried Arrogant Bastard how would you rate it? I went to Anderson's in Maumee, asked if they had the Rogue Maple, they stated they only had a few and they sold quickly. Somehow after talking to the guy, he found a 3Floyds Dreadnaut. Also bought a DFH Robert Johnson.

I picked up 2 bottles of the Sam Adams Infinium on Wednesday. At least one of them will be drank by this weekend.

Went to Fat Head's last night, did the flight. The Sorcerer was one of the best beers I've ever had. Headhunter was disappointing, I guess it won awards. Bumbleberry Ale and Monkey Stout were very good. Pimp my Sleigh was good. Texas Brown Ale</SPAN> was also </SPAN>disappointing.</SPAN>

Last night I tried the beer this thread was started about lol; Walgreens Big Flats. Got together at my parents and my sister/bro in law brought over some Rogue Santa's Private Reserve and Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. My sister picked up the Big Flats as a joke for us to try. I must say it's much worse than I expected. I figured it would taste like Natty and I really wouldn't have too much of a problem choking it down, but it's really bad. Kind of like Milwaukee's Best with some god awful fruity-ish aftertaste - kind of like raspberries. I drank about half the can and poured the rest.

Tonignt was a pretty good bber night. Got hammered on Celebration Ale, then my 'stocking stuffer' gift from my aunt was 4 Arrogant Bastard pint glasses and 2 bombers of Double Bastard. I want to open one nw but know I'd pass out about half way.

I had a 3Floyds Dreadnaught on Christmas Eve. Not everything that I expected. It rated 13/20 so borderline of top beers, but not great like I would have hoped for.
