Dove into the cellar tonight and had a 2013 Brown Shugga. Beer is holding up well, still hoppy with a very nice caramel undertone. Looking forward to the latest batch.

I tried the Smashed Pumpkin a few nights ago and loved it.

This was my gateway into craft beer. It's no wonder I got hooked. This stuff is very nice.

You sir suck as well!

I had two Flying Dog Imperial Stouts (9.2% ABV) and one Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin Ale (10% ABV) last night. Such a great buzz when drinking craft.

Just got home from Ann Arbor; had dinner and beers at Jolly Pumpkin. For me the standout beer was Roja du Kriek; it's La Roja in barrels with cherries. Could have drank it all night but wanted to take advantage and try some other tap only beers. Also ended up leaving with a bottle of Lupulo de Hielo and a nice glass.

I'm trying a pumpkin ale tonight from a brewery near Cincinnati. Rivertown Brewing. It's a pretty decent brew.

Had a few St. Louis brews this weekend while I was there for shows. Drank some Schlafly (their Oktoberfest, Pumpkin, and Pale Ale) that was pretty decent.

Then I had a 4 Hands Cast Iron Oatmeal Brown that was absolutely fantastic.

Had some Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout last night. I like their stuff... just pretty over priced when comparing to other similar stuff on the market.

It's not crazy overpriced. I look at those as if they are asking you to buy 2 bombers. $15 for two bombers isn't terrible.

Had Triple Digit's pumpkin today when I stopped in to Listermann's. Really spicy, but I thought it was a good pumpkin.

Drinking a Quaff Bros. Kaboom! right now. It's an oatmeal stout with cinnamon aged in bourbon barrels. Holy fuck, it's rocket fuel and it tastes amazing!

Got a Dark Apparition by Jackie O's tonight. I realize after drinking it that I have never really known what true love is until tonight.

Had my first pumpkin beer tonight, Leinenkugel style...blech! Noooooo more for me.

Maybe I shouldn't make a rash decision on pumpkin-style from a Leinie, but I am skeptical from the beginning. Not a pumpkin fan at all.

Anyone ever tried Headless Wylie's? It's a pumpkin from Rivertowne. I picked up a sixer last night and I'm dipping into that tonight. Reviews on Untappd are pretty solid.

Leinenkugel is complete garbage. Try out their fall shandy pack if you want to throw up. They have some sort of old fashioned one that tastes like barf.

My beef with shandies is that someone put something other than beer in my beer.

I believe he'd also tell you he prefers malbecs over shandies.
