My recommendation-

Like four hours from West/Central Ohio.

Have had quite a few times. Very good stuff! One of my top go to Belgiums.4cards;1565484 wrote:...I had a glass of (Delerium Tremens--8.5%apv) on New Years Eve and thought it was very good. I have and like it very much. There is a bar in my area that keeps it on tap.4cards;1565484 wrote:...I had a glass of (Delerium Tremens--8.5%apv) on New Years Eve and thought it was very good. Went to a new brewery that opened up in the Bay Area called Rare Barrel last night. They only do sours, and as of right now, don't bottle. Their sours were pretty good, including one that tasted like dried espresso bean was in it. Not the biggest sour guy but I enjoyed their beers.

I would highly recommend Duvel, same ABV, tastes better and is cheaper.4cards;1565484 wrote:...I had a glass of (Delerium Tremens--8.5%apv) on New Years Eve and thought it was very good. It's a strong Belgian Ale that went down very smooth and plan on having more tonight. Anyone else tried this?

That driver should receive some kind of badge of honor for getting rid of that stuff.Curly J;1566540 wrote:Alcohol Abuse ??? --> http://www.wcpo.com/traffic/semi-crash-shuts-down-southbound-lanes-of-i-7175-on-brent-spence-bridge

I love that Fat Tire stuff. Got it at a bar in BG that the waitress recommended for the first time last week, tried it, and was thoroughly impressedI Wear Pants;1564405 wrote:More New Belgium haven't bought a beer that wasn't from them since they came to Ohio.

Back in Cincy after going back to Youngstown for the weekend.
I'm busting into my growler of Thundersnow by MadTree tonight. Such a good beer. I originally bought it Friday night with the plans to bring it up with me, but then decided to keep it all for myself.
I did get my dad to try Fat Tire for the first time while I was up there and he really liked it. I'm slowly getting him away from Bud/Bud Light. Fighting the good fight.

I'd like to try that. Maybe they'll be in Columbus this weekend at the north market brew fest.sherm03;1566816 wrote:Back in Cincy after going back to Youngstown for the weekend.

Fat Tire is a nice Intro beer. Just a little too much sweetness on the finish for me. I'll drink it in a pinch. I know my 27 year old Daughter loves it, so it reminds me more of a chick beer. Cheers to your Dad.
Bought a growler of Palate Wrecker tonight at The Jungle...after having a couple pints of it.

Been drinking some of the darker, heavier stuff lately...so I went with a Brew Free or Die IPA tonight. First time trying it. It's not bad. Kind of weird that at first it seems like it's going to be some crazy heavy hops flavor and then it finishes really clean.

Drinking a Bruery Melange #3. It's a blend of their anniversary ale, black tuesday and White oak (a wheatwine blend). Making the day not suck so much.

Hopslam won't be here until Monday.
Tonight it's all about the Barrel Aged Beers. Just went through the List of 47 beers they are going to have and found about 25 that I want to try.
