Did you try the KCCO beer that Red Hook secretly had bottles of. It was different the. Most black lagers I've ever had with a real coffee taste to it. I still enjoyed Jackie Os and three Floyd's the best.

DPA is just "that beer" for me. I can go to it if I want several. I can drink it out of the can and not feel dirty. I can refrigerate it without worrying about it affecting the taste too much. And I don't have to hide it from any beer friends.Commander of Awesome;1573116 wrote:Having an old chub right along with ya.

Spending the next few days in central Illinois for some shows. Any recommendations on beers I should try to find that I can't get in Ohio?

Three Floyd's of course. They are hard to get in Ohio. Used to be easy to get back in 2005/2006 until they pulled out of Ohio.sherm03;1573967 wrote:Spending the next few days in central Illinois for some shows. Any recommendations on beers I should try to find that I can't get in Ohio?

I was able to score another 12 pack of Hopslam tonight. Went to my local side store, a Haji Mart, and grabbed a sixer. He gave me another sixer he had hidden. He hid some because people he never had seen before were buying them a case at a time. He held some back for his regulars. I'm guessing mine will be gone by tomorrow night. Cheers!!!

I wouldn't say it's can't miss, but Brickstone's APA won gold at the GABF ... should be able to find that around.sherm03;1573967 wrote:Spending the next few days in central Illinois for some shows. Any recommendations on beers I should try to find that I can't get in Ohio?
